Sailability Batemans Bay

Sailability Batemans Bay
Sailability Batemans Bay is a "not for profit", volunteer-based organisation which is part of Sailability World in affiliation with Sailability Australia and Sailability New South Wales. Sailability activities cover a broad spectrum, ranging from recreation, therapeutic and competitive activities, from grass-root, entry level through to elite World Championships and Paralympic training.

Our Sailing Days
Sailability seeks to enrich the lives of people challenged by any type of physical or intellectual disability, the elderly, and the financially and socially disadvantaged. These are our sailors and our Monday sessions are essentially for them. Many also come to our Sunday sessions. Click here to find out more

Volunteers Are Always Welcome
We have a fantastic team of volunteers who help us with a range of jobs. We set up a marquee for shade, bring the boats out from the shed, set up the boats and put them into the water, sail the boats, ensure that everyone signs in, operate the radio, drive and observe on the safety boat, and at the end of our day's sailing, do all this in reverse. Our HANSA Dinghies
Sailability, Batemans Bay, is fortunate to own four 2.3 and four 303 Hansa dinghies. We also are fortunate that two of our members own their own boats, and make these freely available to the club on our nominated sailing days. Click here to find out more
