Welcome

Sailability on Tweed commenced in 2007 and now has a fleet of seven Access 303’s and of course a safety boat.

We operate from the foreshore on Terranora Inlet, adjacent to the boat ramp off Dry dock Road, South Tweed Heads - just past the Pacific Highway overpass and opposite The Palms Village. There is a car park right at the site and a grassy area to relax as well as public toilet facilities.

The sailing area is well protected and safe. There is wheelchair access to the pontoon and sailors can be winched in and out of the dinghies with safety slings if required. A small café across the road serves good food and coffee at reasonable prices.

Volunteers
If you are considering volunteering please call Kevin Bourke on 0419674451 or just turn up and have a look on sailing days. Not a sailor - we can teach you or if you prefer to volunteer on other tasks you will be welcomed.
